Enrichment is essential for the well-being of your dog. It encourages your dog's natural instincts, providing a variety of experiences for their senses. Our intent is to encourage natural behaviors, stimulate curiosity, which helps to improve our dog's physical and mental health.
Our enrichment program involves constant learning, mindfulness, adaptation, and maintenance of the relationships we build with our dogs. In order for animal enrichment to be effective, it must be done in a way that doesn’t cause any stress or anxiety.
While we love our pets and we include them as part of our families, we need to remember that we are limiting their freedom and this impacts their wellness and behavior. Our pets deserve a life free of loneliness, boredom, separation, frustration, fear, and anxiety. Our environments at home and at doggy daycare tend to be stressfull, limited, and teach bad habits. Our pets need more from us.
We seek to give back to our dogs some of the outdoor freedoms, learning opportunities and social interactions they are missing in their lives. They get to be dogs and display species typical behavior according to their personality. The sights, sounds, and especially the smells of the outdoors keep your dog's mind alert and active.
